Major League Baseball was one of Tamara’s major projects while working for Scient, a e-Business consulting firm in New York during the dotcom boom. The goal for Major League Baseball was to deliver a single web application customized for all 30 Major League Baseball teams as well as MLB.com. Tamara headed up a team of 15 Front-End Technologists during the design and build phase of this huge project. The application included aspects of e-commerce, content management, live data feed integration, and streaming media. The web application used Teamsite Content Management System and JSP technology.
