Tamara worked at National Geographic while living in DC. The site has changed significantly since she was there, however many of the projects that she helped get off the ground are still going strong. Tamara oversaw a site-wide redesign which launched in April 2005. She was also responsible for the creation of an Africa archive which was launched in connection with Google Earth. The creative energy and breathtaking photography at National Geographic continue to be a source of inspiration for Tamara.
